Meet with 30 prominent African leaders and entrepreneurs and Africa’s #1 branding guru

Africa is by many considered the continent of the future. Six of the world’s ten fastest-growing economies are in sub-Saharan Africa and Africa’s population is projected to double to 2,4 billion by 2050. To be part of the rapid development and take advantage of business opportunities in sub-Saharan African will become increasingly important for the competitiveness and growth of Swedish companies.

STING is the initiator of Go Africa, an internationalization program aiming to provide small Swedish companies with the knowledge, insights, network, tools and support needed to successfully break into and do business in sub-Saharan Africa. You can read more about Go Africa here and download the Go Africa program brochure here

Africapreneurs #1 – Network Africa is the kick-off event for Go Africa and the premiere in a series of Africapreneurs meetups. The event is arranged in collaboration between Swedish Institute, Inclusive Business Sweden, SE Forum and Stockholm Innovation & Growth (STING) under the overall theme Building sustainable businesses, brands and relationships in Africa

30 small Swedish companies with business interest in Africa will be offered a unique opportunity to network with 30 prominent leaders and entrepreneurs from Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia participating in Swedish Institute Management Programme Africa and SE Forum’s Outreach Accelerator program (see participants below).

We are also immensely proud to present our Keynote Speaker for the day, the African branding guru Thebe Ikalafeng from South Africa, named one of the 100 Most Influential Africans. Thebe Ikalafeng will also be available for speed meetings.

Register here (please note this event is now fully booked) to be considered for one of the 30 spots and select your top candidates for speed meetings. We will try our best to satisfy the interests of everyone. You can also choose to only register for the first part of the event (Keynote and Interactive Panel), to which we will accept maximum 60 participants.

Final registration date is September 6th, and you will be notified latest by September 14th if you have been accepted. Registrations are binding and personal.
